TO:  All Buchanan County Parents, Students, Community, and School Personnel

   As we begin another school year, I would like to extend to you a greeting of commitment and excitement as we plan for the education of our children.  There is no greater responsibility in life than to have the "future" of our students in our hands, and we are dedicated in providing them with the utmost education  possible now and in the years to follow.  Through a joint effort of everyone concerned, parents, teachers, and students, we can establish a high "STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE" of achievement that will allow our students to perform at their highest level which will provide them with the basic foundations to succeed with their future endeavors.

   I encourage all parents to become a part of our school system by becoming actively engaged in the education process
of your child.  Talk to your teachers and volunteer for school projects that will enhance the learning process of your child
while promoting the efforts of our school personnel as they provide opportunities of advancement for all the children of Buchanan County.

   Our school personnel is composed of the highest qualified and dedicated staff of professional educators who are committed to the goal of "EXCELLENCE" in their efforts and the efforts of our students.  To meet the objectives of the 21st Century  educational system, we have set our "TARGET" that our schools will not be lacking in those objectives for our students.  The   "COOPERATIVE" efforts of all the members of the Buchanan County School System is one of our major assets in ensuring the "STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE" that we have set for our schools.
